One year after the devastation cause by Hurricane Ike, the Bolivar Peninsula is springing back to life. Crown Team Texas through it's subsidiary Coastal Components is building an entire community of modular homes that are designed to provide disaster resistant coastal living. Because these modular homes are elevated 27' above sea level on concrete piles, Coastal Components hired McRay Crane and Rigging, Inc. to lift them into place. Each module (section of the completed home weighs 23,000 and McRay Crane and Rigging, Inc. used a 200 ton crane to complete the lift.
